The main goal of the bowling club is to enable serioius and competitive individuals to continue their career in competitive bowling while participating in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.
The MSOE bowling team travels around Wisconsin and Minnesota to participate in collegiate bowling tournaments. The tournaments are held on Saturdays and Sundays and are made up of four conference tournaments and optional invitational tournaments. The tournaments consist of individual games on Saturday and then baker games on Sunday.
Since tounaments are hosted by colleges around Wisconsin and Minnesota the team has to travel and spend the entire weekend at these hosting colleges. In most cases the team will spend Saturday night at a hotel. This gives a large opportunity to meet other bowling students from other colleges.
The type of shot placed out on the lanes varies from center to center. For the most part the center will put out one of their tournament shots but a semi-sport and sport shot could also be used.
Other Colleges in the Wisconsin Collegiate Bowling Conference include:
| UW-Madison | UW-Milwaukee | UW-Platteville |
| Carthage | Winona State | UW-Eau Claire |
| University of Minnesota | UW-Stout | UW- Oshkosh |
| UW-Whitewater | UW-Green Bay |
